Capabilities
Here at WintWire, our in-house manufacturing capabilities for round wire are 0.30 mm to 12.00 mm in a variety of packagings.
We manufacture a range of materials including mild steel / carbon steels, alloy steels, stainless steels, non-ferrous metals, brass and copper to name a few.
Rolled Profile Wire
We offer a vast range of profiles from simple commercial shapes to complex customer specific requirements, are manufactured on rolling and drawing machinery designed specifically for the purpose, and supplied in coils on spools or cut lengths.
Drawn Profile Wire
Profiles are produced from carbon alloy and stainless steels, copper alloys and most other malleable metals.
Varying in size and shape profiles can reduce the costs of machining operations, saving on time and waste material.
WintWire has all the in-house capabilities to take a profile from design through to manufacture.
Sheathed and Insulated Wires
WintWire can offer its wires with a coating.
Sheathing and insulation is available on wires from 0.60 mm through to 12.00 mm.
We offer the coatings in various materials including PVC, PETE, PTFE and LDPE.
The coating can have specific text or logos printed on it as well as metre marking.
Copper Coated Wires
WintWire has the in-house capabilities to copper coat all of its wires including round and profile wires.
These are used in many applications from Thermal Spray Wires to Welding Wires.
Galvanised Wires
WintWire supplies galvanised wires from 0.18 mm through to 12.00 mm. These wires can be supplied in spools, coils or cut lengths.
The galvanised coatings are available on mild steel through to high carbon spring wires.
