WintWire has the capability to manufacture and supply BS S203 spring wire in both rounds, flats, squares, trapezoids, profile shapes.
This standard specifies carbon steel wire rod, wire and springs (high duty unground wire, hardened and tempered) for aerospace purposes.
Wire conforming to this specification is suitable for springs that are subject to exacting service conditions. it is not suitable for high duty dynamically stressed springs, for which wire confirming to BS 2S 204 ought to be used, when hardened and tempered springs are required.
