Stainless Steel Wire 416
416 stainless steel wire or 1.4005 has an increased amount of Sulphur which makes it a highly machinable stainless steel. The increased Sulphur lowers the material corrosion resistance properties. The material can be used in both its as manufactured condition or it can be harded and tempered to a high level.
