Annealed Mild Steel Wire
WintWire offers its mild steel wires with a bright annealed finish. The process which is undertaken in house in one of the companies three large electric batch furnaces. The process takes the material to around 690 degrees and holds it at this temperature for a set length of time, the material then undergoes a controlled cooling which leaves the material soft, malleable and in its softest state. This is ideal for further processing or to be used in the soft condition.
